Wendi L. Dumbroff speaks on mindfulness and connection
Wendi L. Dumbroff, MA, LPC, was recently a guest on the “Sex Talk Cafe” podcast. Dumbroff addressed family therapy, communication, willingness and mindfulness.
Alongside Host Susan Morgan Taylor, Dumbroff discussed desire and connection. “Sex doesn’t have to end in orgasm, it can end in pleasure or feelings of connectedness. Willingness is a concept people can consider to engage in intimacy even if they are not in the mood.”
Dumbroff spoke about mindfulness:
“Mindfulness is being present in this moment, right now…it brings attention to whatever is being known. Being present and mindful in your own body can improve sexual connection and experiences between couples.”
