Wendi L. Dumbroff, MA, LPC, was a recent guest on Dare to be Authentic Radio with host Mari Mitchell.
In conversation with Mitchell, Dumbroff spoke about why following your dreams is important. Dumbroff shared that to pursue her passion, she had to overcome some big hurdles. She detailed the process of going back to graduate school to become a therapist.
Additionally, Dumbroff highlighted the importance of being present and the practice of mindfulness. Dumbroff states:
“Mindfulness is being present right now, in this moment.” She continued, “We can’t change anything we’re not aware of; essentially in order to change your behaviors you must first be aware of them.”
Dumbroff offered valuable insight into being present and intentional in your relationshships.
