Wendi L. Dumbroff speaks on roles and patterns in relationships

Wendi L. Dumbroff, MA, LPC, was recently a guest on the ‘ANONYMOUS ANDREW’ podcastDumbroff addressed the various patterns and challenges she sees in relationships.

Alongside Host, Andrew Peters, Dumbroff discussed mindfulness and how she incorporates that strategy into her sessions. She stated:

“Mindfulness helps people create a pause. It allows one to step back and say, “What are my thoughts and what are my feelings – it creates a space for people to make different choices, among many other benefits.”

Dumbroff highlighted a model she uses to flesh out triggers and coping mechanisms often developed in our childhood, and how they continue to affect relationships. She helps couples to understand all these elements in order to create change.
