Dumbroff uncovers how unresolved conflicts may impact sexual intimacy and how mindfulness can help. As she states, “Mindfulness and sitting with those experiences gives one the space to make choices.”
She elaborates on how shame impacts people as they age, “It’s really important to help people see their strengths and that they are not defined by something that happened to them a long time ago.”
